Q: I’m having troubles using the site, what should I do?

We can help with everything from choosing an invitation style and color to walking you through the actual design. If you’d prefer not to design your invitation online we can take your order over the phone.

 

Q: When should I order my wedding invitations?

A: You should generally begin the invitation shopping process at least 4 months before your wedding. Invitations are generally mailed 6-8 weeks prior to the wedding. You should allow yourself ample time for shipping from InviteDesigner.com, receipt of your invitations, and addressing of the invitations.

 

Q: When should I order my save the date cards?

A: Depending on the time of year of your wedding we suggest sending save the date cards up to a year in advance. This is especially important if you are getting married on a holiday or during the busy summer months.

 

Q: What is included in the invitation set?

A: The invitation set includes an invitation, outer envelope with return address printed on the back flap, RSVP card, RSVP envelope with return address printed on the front, and tissue paper insert.

 

Q: How long will it take to get my invitations?

A: As soon as your order is received it is put in to production. We will have your order completed and shipped within 14 days or less. This does not mean you will receive your order within 14 days or less, it means your order will leave InviteDesigner.com’s facilities within 14 days or less. How long it takes to get to you depends on what shipping method you choose.

 

Q: Can I get a sample?

A: Yes, of course! We encourage you to order our free swatch booklet found under “Samples� on the homepage so you can see available colors as well as feel the high quality papers and ribbons. We also offer invitation set samples for a nominal fee. These can also be found under “Samples� on the homepage. Unfortunately we are not able to customize samples.

 

Q: How long does it take to get my samples?

A: We mail sample requests daily. Depending on where you are located in the U.S. , InviteDesigner.com is located in Washington State ; you should have your samples in 3 days or less.

 

Q: How many samples can I order?

A: You may order samples in as many styles as you’d like but we only allow one sample per style to be purchased.

 

Q: Do you offer calligraphy services?

A: Yes, we do offer calligraphy services; in fact one of our calligraphers was just voted “Editor’s Pickâ€? by Seattle Bride Magazine. Please call us at 888.516.4171 or e-mail us at info@invitedesigner.com for pricing and details.

 

Q: How do I know what wording I should use on my invitation?

A: Please refer to our suggested wording which can be found here .

 

Q: How do I know that the colors I see on my monitor match the actual color I’m going to get?

A: We encourage you to order our free swatch booklet found under “Samples� on the homepage so that you can see every color in person. Due to the variation in computer monitors it is impossible to accurately reflect all of our color options on every computer monitor.

 

Q: Do you have a catalog?

A: We do not have a printed catalog. Because of the cost associated with publishing a catalog as well as our frequent addition of new items, we have decided not to publish a catalog. All of our items can be found here at our site.

Q: What if you don’t have the color I’m looking for?

A: We have access to virtually any paper color you can imagine. If you don’t see the color you’re looking for on our website please call us at 888.516.4171 or e-mail us at helpme@invitedesigner.com and we would be glad to see if we can accommodate your needs.

Q: Can I buy less than 50 invitation sets?

A: 50 invitation sets is our minimum order. Because of the cost and time involved in hand assembling invitation sets we require that you purchase at least 50.

 

Q: Do you offer programs and menus?

A: We anticipate being able to offer additional items like programs and menus through the website at a later date. If you are interested in a program or menu to coordinate with your invitation set please call us at 888.516.4171 or e-mail us at info@invitedesigner.com .
