		<description>I found this article interesting - both remembering my own wedding and the decisions that were made for me about flowers etc but also having spent time with my sons fiancee in the preparation for their wedding.  My own attitude was very similar to what you suggested, deciding which battles I absolutely had to win, and those which I was prepared to let others win.  Although it&#039;s supposed to be your special day, when someone else is paying, there are definitely expectations that they&#039;ll have an input!</description>
